Energy Analyst

Watt Utilities is looking for an Energy Analyst to join our team in Robina, QLD. Since 2006, we’ve helped SME, C&I, and Strata clients navigate energy procurement without the complexity. We go above and beyond for our customers to ensure they get and keep the best energy prices.

The Role

You’ll work across both small and large market customer accounts, handling everything from tariff analysis and bill validation to running end-to-end tender processes. Although administration heavy, you will be analysing consumption patterns, preparing proposals, managing disputes with retailers, and supporting our sales team with the technical grunt work that helps clients make informed decisions.

What You’ll Do

• Run tariff comparisons and market analysis to support customer tenders
• Validate bills and chase up disputes with retailers and metering companies
• Manage pre-tender requirements (LOAs, MSAT data collection)
• Draft customer reports and proposals
• Maintain accurate CRM records (Zoho/RYO) and customer documentation
• Handle metering transfers and coordinate installations
• Train team members and keep processes current
• Field customer calls and queries when needed

What You’ll Need

• Strong with numbers and technical data analysis, problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Extensive administration experience with high attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Experience in electricity markets (preferred but not essential)
• Comfortable with CRM systems, Google Suite, Microsoft Office
• Self-directed with solid time management
• Clear written and verbal communication

This role suits someone who likes solving problems, doesn’t mind getting into the weeds with data, and can work autonomously while supporting a team. You will be successful in this role if you have a proactive can-do attitude and a willingness to learn. Extensive training will be provided to the successful candidate.
